Description - The project will support the government of maldives to strengthen gender-responsive processes, practices, and services (particularly for children, elderly, and victims-survivors of gbv) at central and decentralized levels. It is aligned with the foll owing impact: gender-based violence minimized and gender barriers preventing equal rights, participation, and benefits for women in social and economic spheres eliminated. The outcome of the project is improved quality support services for women and vulnerable groups, particularly abused women, children, and the elderly. The project will strengthen the government of maldives capacity to pursue evidence-based gender equality policies and programs
