Description:NFE finalised agreements with Pemex whereby it would develop and operate the FLNG project off the coast of Veracruz in southeast Mexico. NFE will deploy its 1.4 million tonnes per annum Sevan Driller FLNG unit, which is currently undergoing conversion in a shipyard in Singapore, to liquefy the majority of the gas produced at Lakach.The cylindrical Sevan Driller, which NFE earlier this year acquired for a reported $6 million from Sevan, will be equipped with NFE’s liquefaction technology by Sembcorp Marine.
