Description - Scope of Work:Expansion of 177-MW Wayra I wind farm in the department of Ica. Description:The two companies struck a 12-year agreement that will see Enel Peru source the electricity from its wind farm in the country to meet the contracted demand. Par t of the supply will come from the 177-MW expansion of the existing Wayra wind farm. It is scheduled to start operations in 2023. For the duration of the contract, SIDERPERU will be issued I-REC certificates that confirm its power supply comes from renewable sources. The Wayra expansion project will entail an investment of USD 188.5 million (EUR 175.5m) and the installation of 30 pieces of 5.9-MW wind turbines.
