Description - Scope : 5 MWp Erongo desalination plant solar park to be constructed in Namibia. Erongo saltwater desalination facility in Namibia is set to be equipped with a 5 MWp solar photovoltaic plant. The plans are being put in place by the French nuclear com pany Orano. The aim of the French multinational is to minimize its carbon footprint. In addition, it also seeks to reduce the energy expenditures of its facilities in this southern African nation. Orano has already signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with InnoSun. This is reportedly in a bid to expedite the implementation of the project.
