Description - Scope : ADF has approved $10.53m in support of the implementation of the Electricity for All Program in Côte d’Ivoire. The money would go toward giving 739 rural communities access to affordable, clean electricity. The monies comprise an $ 8.26 mi llion loan and a $ 2.27 million grant.The project to secure electricity access in 739 localities in Côte d’Ivoire will have a variety of financial and socioeconomic effects on the national economy. A key result will be the decrease in energy use after connecting to the electricity grid, especially for residential lighting.The project would facilitate domestic electrical installations and link the energy grid to around 71,660 families.
