The bridge is located on the 6420 Köthen - Aschersleben line at railway km 26.845 and crosses the DB AG facilities in a north -south direction. The superstructure is 8.15 m wide. This is part of the service road 10 and is closed to motorized traffic due to major damage. The bridge also serves as a footpath crossing for an official hiking trail. The existing bridge has major damage that was discovered during investigations, such as concrete flaking on the underside of the superstructure, cracks in the wing walls and corrosion damage.
