Description - Scope : Bwengu Solar Park is a 50MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Mzimba, Malawi. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2023 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2024.The project is being developed and currently owned by Quantel Renewable Energy.Bwengu Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 125 acres.The project cost is expected to be around $56m.Development StatusThe project construction is expected to commence from 2023.
