Description - Scope of Work:Construction of 100-MW solar project in Metbassta, Kairouan Governate.Description:The solar park will be located in Metbassta, Kairouan Governate, in northern Tunisia’s inland desert, and will be capable of generating nearly 230 GWh p er year, enough to power around 42,878 local households. It is expected to reach commercial operation in the first half of 2024. AMEA Power in consortium with TBEA Xinjiang New Energy Co., Ltd won the project in 2019 in an international tender launched by the Ministry of Industry and SMEs in Tunisia that awarded a total of 500 MW of solar capacity. The construction of the solar plant in Metbassta will cost between USD 120 million and USD 140 mill
